Following our customers desire for fresh produce that is both organic and sustainably grown, we operate our Organic Farm to develop and share best practices with our customers and regional partner-growers.  We continually work to grow the best-tasting varieties and extend the northeastern growing seasons, making local farms more economically sustainable.

Mason Farms

Organic Produce from Williamson, NY

Doug Mason's farm has been in operation since 1811. Supplying organic sweet corn, squash, peppers, tomatoes, and eggplant for Wegmans since 2014.

Organic Produce from Loysville, PA

The Brownback family has called their farm home since 1978. They farm 255 acres that have been certified organic since 1994. Supplying variety of organic produce, like tomatoes and salad greens, to Wegmans since 2003.

Red Fire Farm was founded in 2001. Supplying our Massachusetts stores with organic veggies like leafy greens, dandelion greens, beets, tomatoes, cucumbers, and green squash.

Jersey Legacy

Organic Produce from Cedarville, NJ

David Sheppard is an 11th-generation farmer; he and his daughter run their 1888 farm. Supplying a variety of organic produce, like salad greens and goldbar squash, to Wegmans since 2014.


Our Food You Feel Good About Meat is great tasting, with no artificial colors or preservatives. Additionally, our Partner Farmers along the East Coast go the extra mile and raise their meat with no antibiotics or added hormones. (*Federal regulations prohibit the use of hormones or growth stimulants in poultry & pork.)

Mahantongo Farms

Beef from Klingerstown, PA

Second-generation farmer Steve Paul and his family run their 700-acre cattle farm located in the green hills of Schuylkill County in Klingerstown, PA.

Sensenig Farms

Pork from Millerville, PA

Lowell Sensenig, in Mohnton, PA. is a 14th-generation farmer who takes his environmental and animal welfare responsibilities seriously. His American Humane Association Certified pigs are fed all-vegetarian grain that’s provided by a local family-owned and -operated feed mill.

Conquest Farms

Beef from Cato, NY

Matt Slagle and Ed Primrose partner to run the Conquest Farm just outside of Cato, NY in Cayuga County—they grow the forage and nearly all the corn for their herd.

Salem Cross Farms

Beef from West Brookfield, MA

David Salem’s family has owned the Salem Cross Farm in West Brookfield, Massachusetts since the late 1930s. Dave and his 6 siblings stay busy on their family farm.

Steffan Farm

Beef from Detour, MD

Paula Steffen Putman, her father Herman Steffen, and her children tend Black Angus cattle on her family's 3rd-generation 1943 farm along Double Pipe Creek in Detour, MD.

Huntley Farms

Beef from Broad Run, VA

Brothers William and John Hazel rely on longtime manager Randy Bardell to run their 2nd-generation family farm. The 1950 farm is only 2 miles from Manassas, and all the corn, hay, and pasturage for the cattle is harvested from their own carefully conserved 5,000 acres.

Marble Valley Farms

Beef from Deerfield, VA

Todd Beck, a 4th-generation cattleman, owns and operates Marble Valley Farms with his father H.R. and son Garrett. The early 1900s farm is nestled in the Allegheny Mountains along the Shenandoah Valley; the Beck family raises its own corn and hay as yearround feed for their herd. "We get to work where we live and love what we do," says Todd.

Clay Jackson is the 3rd-generation to run his family’s cattle farm in the Blue Ridge Mountain foothills in beautiful Madison, VA.

Ben Lloyd owns Standish Shore Oyster Farm with his wife and three children. Ben has been growing high quality oysters since 2001.

Viking Village

Seafood from Barnegat Light, NJ

Family-owned and operated by the Larson and Puskas families, Viking Village in Barnegat Light, NJ, is just one of our trusted sustainability partners. They supply us with wild-caught swordfish, tuna, bluefish, monkfish, and scallops.

Cherrystone Aquafarm

Clams & Oysters from Cheriton, VA

Kenneth "Bubba" Frisby grows clams and oysters for the Ballard family's 5th generation aquafarm.
