Wegmans Wake Forest Looking to Fill Remaining Positions before May 19 Opening

Wake Forest, N.C., March 16, 2021 – With construction of the new Wegmans in Wake Forest nearly complete, the Rochester-based supermarket chain is planning to open its doors to its 106^th store on Wednesday, May 19 at 9 a.m. In advance of its opening, the store is hosting a virtual hiring event on Thursday, March 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for 130 remaining part-time positions.

Available part-time positions include cashiers, food production, cooks, and stocking opportunities. Select full-time customer service positions are also available. In total, the Wake Forest store will employ nearly 450 people, the majority of whom will be hired locally. Interested applicants are invited to apply online here prior to the event. The Wake Forest hiring team will review applications and contact candidates to schedule a virtual interview.
