We partnered with award-winning Chef David Bouley to develop our new “Mother Sauce.” Chef Bouley helped us create a recipe without using a traditional roux or starch for thickening. The secret of the sauce is that it’s thickened by vegetables that have been slowly roasted and caramelized to perfection.
What is “Mother Sauce”?
A savory brown sauce, “Mother Sauce” is the secret to creating a restaurant-quality meal at home, adding flavor and dimension to your favorite dishes. It’s made from a mix of roasted vegetables slowly simmered in organic beef bone broth with herbs and a wine reduction. “Mother Sauce” comes ready to use on meat or seafood, or as a base for other sauces.
