Brown Rice.
Cooking Instructions: Stove-Top Method: 2 cups water; 1/2 teaspoon salt; 1 cup Diamond G Brown Rice; 1 tablespoon butter (optional). Bring water to a boil. Stir in rice, butter, and salt. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until all liquid is absorbed, about 45 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, 5 minutes. Fluff with fork. Makes 3 cups or 4 to 6 servings. Oven Method: 1-3/4 cups boiling water; 1 cup Diamond G Brown Rice; 1/2 teaspoon salt; 1 tablespoon butter (optional). Place rice, butter, and salt in a 1-1/2 qt baking dish. Pour boiling water over rice. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F until all liquid is absorbed, about 50 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand, covered, 5 minutes. Fluff with fork. Makes 3-1/2 cups or 4 to 6 servings.
