With texture resembling that of shrimp, our bite-sized langostino lobster tails have a delicate, sweet flavor, and are perfect for tossing into pasta, salads or as a substitute in lobster rolls. Caught in an MSC certified fishery in Chile, these tails are fully-cooked and peeled for your convenience.
HOW TO THAW: Thaw times may vary depending on your equipment. Do not refreeze. Use within 24 hours of thawing. 1. Remove desired amount of langostino meat from bag and place in colander. 2. Set colander into large bowl; cover loosely and refrigerate 8-10 hours or until thawed. 3. Rinse with cold water; drain well and pat dry with paper towels. Serve. To Quick Thaw: 1. Remove desired amount of langostino meat from bag and place in a resealable bag. 2. Place bag into a large bowl of cold water. Move bowl into sink and allow a small stream of cold running water to thaw 15-60 minutes or until thawed. 3. Rinse with cold water; drain well and pat dry with paper towels. Serve. Chef Tip: Add langostino meat to your favorite pasta, stir-fry or soup recipes – just thaw and add at the last step of recipe to heat through, about 3 min. Serve as a cold appetizer with cocktail or remoulade sauce and lemon wedge.
