Cut Okra.
Keep frozen. Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment. Stove-Top: Place desired amount of okra in saucepan with 1/2 cup water and salt if desired; cover. Bring quickly to a boil. Reduce heat, stir, cook gently 5-6 minutes or until tender. Drain. Season to taste or add to your favorite recipe. Microwave (1100 watt). Place desired amount of okra in 2 quart microwave-safe container with water according to chart on package; cover. Cook on High according to the time in chart; stirring. Allow for standing time. Carefully remove from oven. Add to your favorite recipe.
