Wegmans Norwalk

6/19/25 - On July 23, the first Wegmans store in Connecticut will open to the public, welcoming neighbors from the Norwalk community and beyond. However, the store team has already established relationships with many local nonprofit organizations and businesses, contributing nearly $50,000 to the community through donations and event sponsorships.

2/10/25 - Wegmans Food Markets announced today the grand opening dates for its 2025 stores. Wegmans’ first Connecticut location will debut in Norwalk on Wednesday, July 23. All stores will open at 9 a.m. As grand opening preparations are underway, Wegmans’ new stores have hundreds of open positions to fill.

8/1/24 - Wegmans Food Markets, the family company that ranks #6 on the FORTUNE list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For, is now hiring and training full-time employees for its first store in Connecticut. Located at 675 Connecticut Ave. in Norwalk, the store is scheduled to open in summer 2025. Wegmans plans to employ approximately 500 people at this location; the majority of employees will be new to the company and hired locally.
