The holidays are a special time to celebrate with family and friends. This season, we’ve partnered with local organizations to sponsor events for all to enjoy. Whether you’re looking to start a new tradition or planning to visit an annual favorite, here’s a list of festive activities to consider:

  • Westchester’s Winter Wonderland
Guests can experience a 1.2-mile drive-thru experience filled with thousands of lights, all from the warmth of their own car. New this year is the option to add on Ned and Albert’s Holiday Treat Bag, a snack box with treats from Wegmans’ Harrison, NY store.
  • Tacky Light Run
The 6k course shows off Midlothian, Virginia’s best displays of tacky lights. Participants are encouraged to wear ugly sweaters while walking or running the course, where they will view dozens of homes decorated with over-the-top tacky lights on Saturday, December 11.
  • Community House of Moorestown Tree and Menorah lighting
The Moorestown, New Jersey, community will gather on the front lawn of the Community House to listen to music, savor cookies and cocoa, and donate food and toys for those in need, while witnessing the seasonal lighting of a 25-foot Norway spruce tree and menorah. The annual event takes place on Monday, November 29 at 5 p.m.
  • Roc Holiday Village
A winter festival in Rochester, NY featuring outdoor seating and fire pits, free ice skating and skate rentals, a unique shopping village, free visits with Santa, cozy winter igloos, free crafts for kids, live music, and an indoor bar with tasty food and drinks.
  • Forks Township Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting
Holiday activities abound at this event including wreath making, a gingerbread house display, live music, food trucks, a tree lighting, and Santa’s arrival on Sunday, December 5, in Easton, Pennsylvania.
  • Ice Sculpting Masters Drive-Thru Holiday Display
For 5 days only, visitors can enjoy a drive-thru display of over 80 hand-carved ice sculptures incorporating 150,000 pounds of crystal-clear ice blocks. These larger-than-life displays will celebrate the spirit of the holidays and the coming of a new year at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY.

“Many families and friends are looking forward to gathering together this year following a challenging holiday season in 2020,” says Linda Lovejoy, Wegmans community relations manager. “We’re honored to partner with so many wonderful organizations that go above and beyond to serve their local communities all year long.”

From our family to yours, we wish you a happy holiday season.
