We operate our Organic Farm & Orchard in Canandaigua, NY with a mission to source more organic vegetables and extend the east coast growing season. Using the farm’s research and development, we’re able to work with local grower partners to supply our stores with vegetables that have the most amazing flavor.
With our Organic Farm and our trusted network of over 400 family farms, we’re proud to offer the best, freshest ingredients from close to home.
The Brownback family has called their Central Pennsylvania farm home since 1978. They farm 255 acres that are certified organic, supplying a variety of organic produce, like tomatoes and salad greens, to Wegmans since 2003.
Doug Mason’s great-grandfather sold veggies to John and Walter Wegman when the brothers first opened the Rochester Fruit & Vegetable Company in 1916. Doug and his children are the 7th and 8th generations to work the family’s Upstate New York farm. Doug’s son, Lewis, now grows on 300 acres at Mason South in Trenton, NC, as well.
