Following our customers desire for fresh produce that is both organic and sustainably grown, we operate our Organic Farm & Orchard to develop and share best practices with our customers and regional partner-growers.  We continually work to grow the best-tasting varieties and extend the northeastern growing seasons, making local farms more economically sustainable.

Organic Produce from Eden, NY

The Zittel family has worked with Wegmans for more than 50 years and supplies our    stores with organic squash, peppers & mini cucumbers.

Fowler Farms
Apples from Wolcott, NY

The 5th and 6th generations of the Fowler family tend to their Wolcott, NY, heritage acres, first planted in 1858.  Since 1983, they’ve supplied us with many delicious apple varieties, including an exclusive organic Honeycrisp.

Jersey Legacy
Organic Produce from Cedarville, NJ

David Sheppard is an 11th-generation farmer; he and his daughter run their 1888 farm. Supplying a variety of organic produce, like salad greens and goldbar squash, to Wegmans since 2014.

Kreher Farms
Organic Greens from Brockport, NY

Kreher Family Farm in upstate NY has supplied more than a billion eggs to Wegmans, but in 2014, we asked them to try something very different— growing organic baby greens for us. They jumped at the chance. “Everything was so new to us,” says Mike Kreher, 4th-generation egg farmer. “We worked with the Wegmans Organic Farm and Cornell University to see what grows  well in our area.”  

Mason Farms
Organic Produce from Williamson, NY

Doug Mason's farm has been in operation since 1811. Supplying organic sweet corn, squash, peppers, tomatoes, and eggplant for Wegmans since 2014.

Ryan and Sarah's Red Fire Farm was founded in 2001. Supplying our Massachusetts stores with organic veggies like leafy greens, dandelion greens, beets, tomatoes, cucumbers, and green squash.

The Brownback family has called their farm home since 1978. They farm 255 acres that have been certified organic since 1994. Supplying a variety of organic produce, like tomatoes and salad greens, to Wegmans since 2003.

Conquest Farms
Beef from Cato, NY

Matt Slagle and Ed Primrose partner to run the Conquest Farm just outside of Cato, NY in Cayuga County—they grow the forage and nearly all the corn for their herd.

The Hershey Family Farm
Beef from East Donegal, PA

Owned and operated by four generations of farmers since 1956.

Huntly Farms
Beef from Broad Run, VA

Brothers William and John Hazel rely on longtime manager Randy Bardell to run their 2nd-generation family farm. The 1950 farm is only 2 miles from Manassas, and all the corn, hay, and pasturage for the cattle is harvested from their own carefully conserved 5,000 acres.

Marble Valley Farms
Beef from Deerfield, VA

Todd Beck, a 4th-generation cattleman, owns and operates Marble Valley Farms with his father H.R. and son Garrett. The early 1900s farm is nestled in the Allegheny Mountains along the Shenandoah Valley; the Beck family raises its own corn and hay as yearround feed for their herd. "We get to work where we live and love what we do," says Todd.


McMillen Brothers Inc.
Food You Feel Good About Beef Supplier from Loysville, PA

The McMillen family has been working their heritage cattle farm since 1785. This 8th-generation cattle ranch is nestled in the mountains of Pennsylvania’s Perry County. Clee and his daughter Chloe are the 7th and 8th generation to care for the land and the animals.

Salem Cross Farms
Beef from West Brookfield, MA

David Salem's family has owned the Salem Cross Farm in West Brookfield, Massachusetts since the late 1930s. Dave and his 6 siblings stay busy on their family farm.

Pork from Millerville, PA

Lowell Sensenig, in Mohnton, PA. is a 14th-generation farmer who takes his environmental and animal welfare responsibilities seriously. His American Humane Association Certified pigs are fed all-vegetarian grain that’s provided by a local family-owned and -operated feed mill.

Beef from Madison, VA

Clay Jackson is the 3rd-generation to run his family’s cattle farm in the Blue Ridge Mountain foothills in beautiful Madison, VA.

Ben Lloyd owns Standish Shore Oyster Farm with his wife and three children. Ben has been growing high quality oysters since 2001.

Viking Village
Seafood from Barnegat Light, NJ

Family-owned and operated by the Larson and Puskas families, Viking Village in Barnegat Light, NJ, is just one of our trusted sustainability partners. They supply us with wild-caught swordfish, tuna, bluefish, monkfish, and scallops.


We partner with cheese makers near our stores to deliver the finest cheeses to your local Wegmans.

New York

Founded by Kurt Beecher Dammeier in 2002, the company stays true to sourcing only local, premium milk. Beecher's most notably partners with us on our Intense 26-Month Cheddar.    

Cellars at Jasper Hill

Brothers Mateo & Andy Kehler have a working dairy farm, on-site creamery and an underground aging facility to bring the best artisan cheeses to ripe perfection.

Owned & managed by brothers Max and Trystan Sandvoss; their goat’s milk is produced by their own herd of goats and implement the most sustainable and humane agricultural practices.    

Vermont Creamery

Allison Hooper and Bob Reese took over his grandfather’s dairy farm, and in 1984 established one of the most renowned, award-winning creameries in the Northeast.

We’ve partnered with Klaas and Mary-Howell Marten, of Marten’s Family Farm in Penn Yan, NY, to “rescue” several heirloom wheats for the subtle sweetness and rustic texture of our artisan organic sourdough breads.
