When our daughter, Cailie, and I were diagnosed with celiac disease, I began searching for gluten-free bakery foods that tasted more like their gluten equivalent. I quickly became frustrated by what I found and set out to create my own recipes. I started baking in my home kitchen for friends, family and fellow celiacs in Central PA. We expanded by selling to local grocery and health food stores, and when demand outgrew our home kitchen in 2010, we opened a gluten-free bakery in Newmanstown, PA. At Tonya's we believe that you don't have to sacrifice quality and taste when giving up gluten. Each delicious, buttery soft pretzel is hand-twisted in Tonya's kitchen using all-natural ingredients. We also know how important it is to eliminate contamination with gluten, so ours is a dedicated gluten-free facility. Heat pretzel for 25-30 seconds (Due to differences in all ovens, heating instructions may need to be adjusted.) on high or until soft and warmed. For a Crustier Pretzel: Conventional Oven or Toaster Oven: 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 2. Place frozen pretzel on a pan. 3. If desired, moisten pretzel with water or melted butter. Sprinkle with provided salt. 4. Heat pretzel for 5-7 minutes (Due to differences in all ovens, heating instructions may need to be adjusted.) or until soft and warmed. Caution: Product may be hot. Keep frozen until ready to use.
