After the birth of our daughter Amy in 1987 we found there was little time to prepare the wholesome nutritious food we normally ate. Realizing there were others like ourselves, we set up Amy's Kitchen to produce delicious, nourishing frozen meals for health conscious people too busy to cook. We use only the finest natural and organic ingredients and prepare them with the same careful attention in our kitchen as you would in your own home. No meat, fish, poultry or eggs are ever used in any Amy's products. No trans fat. No added MSG. No preservatives. Amy's grandma (Nonny) eats scrambled tofu and toast for breakfast every morning. To make the tofu look good and taste great, she adds golden turmeric and bits of saut ed organic vegetables, onions, shitake mushrooms and sweet peppers. Our whole family enjoys this dish so much that we figured our customers would too. In order to make it convenient and easy to eat, we've used the tofu scramble as a filling for a new pocket sandwich. Now all Amy's grandma has to do is pop a Tofu Scramble Pocket Sandwich into her toaster oven. Amy's Kitchen began with the vision of a freezer full of great tasting wholesome vegetarian food that would support a family's busy life style. In addition to entrees, pizzas and whole meals, we wanted something quick and easy for after school snacks, on the run breakfasts and brief lunches. So we created these nourishing baked pocket sandwiches that are full of flavor and fully satisfying. Certified organic by QAI.

Keep frozen. Remove and discard overwrap. Place on cookie sheet or foil. Conventional Oven: Preheat, bake at 350 degree F for 20-25 minutes. Toaster Oven: Bake at 325 degree F for 25-30 minutes. Let stand 1-2 minutes. Microwave Oven: Remove and discard overwrap. Place on paper towel. Heat on High 2-21/2 minutes or until hot. Rotate once during heating. Let stand 1-2 minutes before serving. For crispier crust, place microwaved pocket sandwich in toaster oven for 2-3 minutes at 375 degree F. Ovens vary so please use these instructions as a guide to the best preparation for your oven.
