Microwave Right in the Bag. KEEP REFRIGERATED. HOW TO COOK: Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment. Microwave (1100 watts): 1. Cut corner of bag to vent; place on microwave safe plate. 2. Cook on HIGH 2-3 minutes or until desired doneness. Rest 1 minute; carefully remove from oven. Open bag avoiding steam; season to taste. CAUTION: BAG IS HOT AND CONTAINS STEAM. Blanching and Shocking: 1. Bring 4 quarts salted water to boil in large pot on HIGH. 2. Remove vegetables from bag and carefully place in pot. Cook 4-5 minutes or until desired doneness. If ready to serve, drain and season to taste. 3. If finishing preparation later, shock by transferring to bowl if ice water 2-3 minutes, until vegetables are cool to the touch. Drain and refrigerate. Steam: 1. Remove vegetables from bag and place in steamer basket; cover. 2. Heat about 2 inches of water in wok or skillet to a boil. 3. Place basket in wok. Steam 5-8 minutes or until desired doneness. 4. Remove wok from heat. Using extreme caution, remove lid, avoiding steam. Carefully remove vegetables and season to taste. Chef Tip: Drizzle with organic extra virgin olive oil.
