Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Grain Elbows Pasta Cooking Instructions: Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil, then, add Sprouted Ezekiel elbow pasta. Cook approximately 4 minutes. Add olive oil to reduce sticking (optional). Be careful not to over cook. You'll expect the pasta to be slightly al dente. Then, strain the Ezekiel pasta in a colander. Fill serving bowls half full with Ezekiel; elbows, then add your veggie mixture on top of the Ezekiel elbows. Mix well. Add sea salt to taste, and serve. Helpful tips and reminders: Remember Ezekiel 4:9 sprouted grain pasta will cook faster than regular pasta. This is because sprouting predigests much of the gluten. Therefore, the boiling water will penetrate the pasta more quickly. Overcooking will cause the pasta to become sticky. It also normal for Ezekiel 4:9 sprouted grain pasta to color the water slightly. Serving Tips: Only combine Ezekiel pasta with the veggie mixture prior to serving. Storing Ezekiel pasta in veggie mixture for extended periods will cause Ezekiel pasta to break down.
