Vegetable Pasta (Whole Grain Brown Rice, Spinach Powder, Tomato Powder, Carrot Powder, Water), Tomato Powder, Italian Seasoning (Garlic, Onion, Oregano, Rosemary, Thyme, Basil, Parsley, Sage, Marjoram) and Salt.
You Will Need: 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil; 2 cups any combination of fresh chopped zucchini, yellow squash, broccoli, green beans, red, yellow or green peppers or 2 cups frozen 'Normandy' style vegetable blend or similar, thawed; chopped herbs for garnish (optional). Cooking Directions for Pasta Pisavera Dinner: Step 1: Add pasta to boiling, salted water. Cook for 7-10 minutes or until slightly el dente (do not overcook). Drain and rinse with cool water. Step 2: Briefly saute vegetables in olive oil (2-3 minutes) in large skillet on medium heat with a pinch or two of seasoning. Keep vegetables crisp. Step 3: Add pasta and remainder of seasoning packet to taste. Cook for 1-2 minutes until warmed through. Garnish if you like and serve. Makes 4 servings. You can add any number of things in Step 2 to make a new creation every time. Try adding chopped, cooked chicken, shrimp, or white beans. Garnish with sliced cherry tomatoes, freshly chopped parsley or basil or a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. Quick & Easy Side Dish: Boil pasta as directed in Step 1. Drain and rinse with cool water. Set aside. Heat 3 tablespoons olive oil (more or less to taste) in pan. Add contents of seasoning packet (to taste) and drained pasta. Toss and voila!
