Makes 4 servings. Cooks in 30 minutes. 3 Simple Steps: Cook brown rice & quinoa blend. Saute purchased beef & add custom spice blend. Serve in four dishes & enjoy with veggies. What You Need: 1 lb lean ground beef; 1 tsp vegetable oil; 3 cups water; veggie of your choice (we prefer sliced avocado & tomato). Don't want ground beef? Also tastes great with ground turkey. Cook as instructed in step 2. Just add beef. Cooking Instructions: 1. Cook Rice & Quinoa: In a medium pot, bring 2 cups water to boil. Add rice & quinoa and return to boil. Cover & reduce heat to medium-low. Without stirring, simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until water is absorbed. Remove from heat & leave covered for 5 minutes. 2. Cook Beef: Preheat 1 tsp vegetable oil in saute pan over medium-high heat. Add ground beef & saute, breaking it into bite-size pieces until cooked through (about 5 minutes). Add 1 cup water & spice blend to pan. Stir well. Reduce heat to medium & cook until sauce thickens. Remove from heat. 3. Serve & Enjoy: Fluff cooked rice & quinoa with fork & divide into 4 dishes. Spoon beef & sauce over grains. Serve with optional veggies (Veggie Pairing: This meat pairs well with many veggies. We prefer sliced avocado & tomato). Enjoy!
