Directions

Keep best refrigerated or frozen. Basic Cooking: Combine 1 cup Pearl Barley and 3 cups water in a medium-sized pot and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat; cook 50-60 minutes. To achieve an even softer kernel, presoak Pearl Barley in twice the amount of water as grains for 5 hours or overnight. Cook in boiling water for 15 minutes.
