Product Details

Herbal Supplement. 16 wrapped tea bags. Since 1974. Detox teas. Created by herbalists. Supports healthy skin and liver function. Naturally caffeine free herbal tea. Non GMO Project verified. nongmoproject.org. USDA organic. Personality: Gentle, supportive and helpful. Herbal Power: Promotes healthy skin, liver and kidney function. Reason to Love: Living in an increasingly toxic world can take a toll on your body, even your skin. Responding to such concerns, our herbalists created this tea to help beautify skin by gently stimulating the body's natural detoxification process. By helping the liver break down fats during digestion and by promoting flushing of the kidneys, the herbs in this tea gently support the body's ability to carry away wastes. Pleasantly mild, bittersweet, and earthy, this tea is a classic European herbal combination of burdock root, stinging nettle and cleavers blended with lemon myrtle for a lemony-citrus taste. Taste: Balanced bittersweet, with hints of aromatic citrus. Stinging nettle (urtica dioca) - which you may know as a pesky and painful weed that pops up in your yard in the spring - is also well-known as an all-around healthful tonic that has been traditionally combined with burdock and cleavers for hundreds of years. Some of our favorite nettle is hand-picked (ouch!) by wild collectors in Poland, then dried and cut before being bundled up and sent on to us. www.traditionalmedicinals.com. We've Got the Right Stuff: We raise the bar. The quality standard of the herbs we use is hard to pronounce, difficult to meet, and it's what makes us different, better. We're not ashamed to say it. Pharmacopoeial: it's the only quality standard our herbalists can rely on when blending teas for your health and wellness. Certified by the California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF). All ingredients certified organic. Certified B corporation. Reduce, Reuse Recycle: 100% recycled carton (at least 35% verified post-consumer waste). Solar & Wind Power: Our solar panels provide the majority of the energy to manufacture this product. We offset the rest with renewable energy credits. Compostable Tea Bags: Tea bags are made from compostable manila fiber paper. (These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease).
