Farmer Ground Flour was conceived by millers Greg Mol and Neal Johnston and organic farmer Thor Oechsner. We began milling flour in 2009 from grains that we grow in New York's Finger Lakes region. We grind our grain with sets of beautiful pink granite millstones, and our process creates astonishingly fresh and vibrant flour. To this end, we do not bleach, chemically treat or enrich any of our flours, allowing the natural nutrients, fibers, oils and flavors to speak for themselves. We think they speak loudly.
