How To Cook. Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment. Pan Sear with Oven Finish. Preheat oven to 350 degrees with rack in center. 1. Dust tenderloins with flour; pat off excess. 2. Heat 1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil in skillet on MEDIUM-HIGH; until oil faintly smokes; add tenderloins. Sear 3-4 minutes per side until lightly browned. 3. Place skillet in oven; cook 20-25 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Check by inserting thermometer in thickest part of tenderloin. 4. Optional to finish with 1 teaspoon butter and 1 tablespoon basting oil or olive oil. When tenderloins reach 160 degrees, carefully remove skillet from oven. Add butter and basting oil to skillet and swirl. Baste with spoon, 2 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
