New! Wegmans Food You Feel Good About Organic Grass Fed Beef. Wegmans meat experts have searched the world for the best tasting Organic grass fed beef and have found it in the South American country of Uruguay. Uruguay's mild climate, fertile soil and endless green pastures where cattle are free to roam on open ranges throughout their entire lives make it the perfect place to raise beef. Clean air, pure water, abundant sunshine and lush native grasses are the main ingredients that have created our great tasting beef. Uruguay, bordered by Argentina and Brazil, is a country with strong European influence and heritage. Our beef is raised by small family farms and processed in USDA inspected facilities.

Wegmans Food You Feel Good About Organic Grass Fed Beef should be cooked to a desired temperature, not a specific length of time. Final Beef Temperatures: Rare (Very Red, warm center) - cook to 125 degrees. Medium (Pink, warm center) - cook to 130 degrees. Well (Pink, very warm center) - cook to 145+ degrees. Temperatures listed are final target temperatures. To prevent over cooking and dryness, stop cooking 5 degrees below target temperature and rest meat 5-10 minutes. Beef doneness is a personal preference; adjust accordingly.
