Keep Refrigerated. Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection , follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cooking Guide : Use a little salt and pepper and season the lamb. That's all you need unless you want to be a little more adventurous. Preheat oven to 450 F. Place the seasoned leg flat side down in s shallow roasting pan. If you want to spruce it up add some roughly chopped carrots, onions and herbs. Roast uncovered for 15 minutes. Drop the heat to 375 F and roast for 20 minutes per pound or until the meat reaches about 145 F for medium rare. Make sure you measure the temperature in the middle of the lamb.
