Ingredients

Sugar, Potato Starch, Dutch Process Cocoa, Salt, Mono and Diglycerites, Sorbitan Monostearate, Sodium Bicarbonate and Vanillin (Artificial Flavor).

Directions

Makes: about 12 servings. Preparation Time: 10 minutes. Bake Time: about 40 minutes. Baking Instructions: For Cake You Will Need: 3 eggs; about 1/2 cup vegetable oil. For Frosting You Will Need: 1 tablespoon margarine or butter (if butter is used this cake is not Pareve), softened; 1 tablespoon boiling water. Cake Prep: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease enclosed baking pan. Mix: Empty large pouch of mix into mixing bowl. Add eggs and oil. Beat on medium speed for 4 minutes or 600 strokes by hand. Spread batter evenly in the baking pan. Bake: Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pan on rack for 15 minutes. Frosting Prep: Remove cake from pan and cool thoroughly on rack before frosting. Empty small bag of frosting mix into small bowl. Add 1 tablespoon margarine or butter and mix. Gradually add 1 tablespoon boiling water until desired spreading consistency is reached. Stir until smooth and spread on completely cooled cake.
