It's America's favorite. What could be more American than Apple pie? I like mine the Southern way, with a crispy, crumbled crust on top. My golden brown apple crisp has a touch of cinnamon, and the fruit is extra moist and flavorful because the juices don't run away! Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top right after baking a sweet kick. Go a la mode - with a nice scoop of classic vanilla ice cream or your favorite flavor. You can't go wrong. After all, It's America's favorite! We hope to see you soon at Sylvia's Restaurant. Enriched Bleached Wheat Flour (Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Brown Sugar (Cane Syrups), Sugar, Dextrose, Soybean Oil, Sodium Bicarbonate, Salt, Spice, Sodium Aluminum Phosphate, Monocalcium Phosphate, Caramel Color, Whey (Milk), Soy Flour, Egg.
You will need: 1 can (21 oz) Apple Pie Filling (other fruit pie filling may be substituted). 4 Tbsp (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted. 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 2. Pour apple pie filling into an 8 x 8 inch pan. 3. Combine apple crisp mix and melted butter with a fork until crumbly. 4. Sprinkle mixture over apples evenly. 5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
