Cooking: Just Add: 1 cup basmati rice (100g/2 portions); 1 - 1.5 cups water (You might need a little more or less water. If the rice seems too soft or even over-cooked, use less water in the future. If it seems underdone, then use some more water) + 1 tablespoon margarine or butter, salt to taste. Absorption Method: Rinse the measured rice under running, lukewarm water in order to remove any residue. Soak in salted water for 15 minutes. Over high heat, bring the water to a boil in an uncovered saucepan, stirring occasionally. As soon as the water no longer covers the rice, add the margarine or butter and cover with a lid. Simmer the rice for 15 mins over a reduced heat until cooked. The fluffy, snow-white basmati rice is now ready to serve. Best before: See stamp on top or back. Please store in a cool and dry place.
