Each 40 g serving made with water contains 150 calories (8%); 0.5 g sugar (-1%); 2.2 g fat (3%); 0.4 g saturates (2%); trace salt (-1%) of an adult's guideline daily amount. Our mill, situated in a small village in Waterford, has been en independent family business for over 200 years. We use milling techniques handed down over the generations to create perfect porridge oats. Locally produced Irish oats. Directions

Store in a cool dry place. Cook on the Hob (Serves 2): Stir one cup of Flahavan's Irish Original Porridge Oats into 2-1/2 cups of cold water/milk. Bring to the boil and simmer for 3 minutes stirring continuously. Cook in the Microwave (serves 1): Stir 1/2 cup of Flahavan's Irish Original Porridge Oats with one cup of cold water/milk in a deep bowl allowing over an inch at the top of the bowl for the oats to cook. Microwave on high for 2-1/2 to 3 minutes, stir and serve. This is based on a 900W microwave. As with any hot product please be careful. Quick Tips: Try soaking the oats in milk or water in the fridge overnight for a shorter cooking time and extra creaminess. For best before, see back of pack.
