Light, crispy & easy to make. Made in Yorkshire for over 40 years. Can also be used with chicken, fruit & vegetables. Tasty Tips: Try using beer or lager instead of water for an extra crisp and tasty batter. No artificial flavours or preservatives. Produced in the UK.

Directions

For the best results follow these simple instructions. How to Make Perfect Chip Shop Batter: Empty the contents into a mixing bowl. Add 280 ml (1/2 pint) of cold water and whisk until a smooth batter is formed. Dry fish, chicken or vegetables and lightly dust with flour. Dip in the batter to coat fully. Deep fry in hot fat or oil 170C/350F until golden. Drain on kitchen paper before serving. Store in a cool dry place.
