Brown Rice: 1 cup; Water: 2-1/2 cups. Cooking: Combine 1 cup Nishiki Brown Rice and 2-1/2 cups water in medium saucepan. Bring to a soft boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 50 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat; let stand covered 10 minutes before serving. Fluff with fork and serve. Makes 3 cups cooked rice, or 4 (3/4 cup) servings. Note: If using electric rice cooker, combine 1 cup rice and 3 cups water in electric rice cooker pot. Continue as directed by rice cooker manufacturer. When cooking is complete, allow rice to stand covered 10 minutes before serving. Makes 3 cups cooked rice.
