Fertilizing with each watering eliminates the need to remember when you last fed your plants. Schultz African Violet Plus is excellent for all varieties of African violets and other plants in the gesneriad family. It is recommended for use with all types of water and potting soil. Ideal for hydroponic cultures. African violets are one of the most popular blooming houseplants.

For feeding once or twice a month use up to 14 drops (1/4 teaspoon) per quart of water. 1 full squeeze of the dropper dispenses approx. 14 drops. Helpful Hints: Watering Overwatering is a common cause of African violet failure. Water when top of soil is dry or pot feels light. Discard excess water from saucers after 30 minutes. Watering In the morning is best. Night wetness promotes mildew. Light: African violets require 12-16 hours of bright, indirect light daily. Avoid direct sun. Without adequate light, African violets will not bloom.
