These grill pellets are only for use on outdoor grills and with compatible properly installed and ventilated outdoor pellet grills. The contents of this bag are not a food product and are not to be consumed consumed directly. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Care should be taken with the disposal of this product as the remnants can cause fire. Store in a cool, dry place separate from other combustible materials or sources of ignition. For best results, keep covered and do not store outside or on floors where moisture could collect. Combustion of wood products cause carbon monoxide emissions and this combustion should only take place in a well ventilated area outdoors.
Suggestions for Use: Place pellets in a foil pouch or in a smoker box, which will produce smoke for 45-60 minutes. Pellets can also be sprinkled on hot charcoal (do not soak). Foil Pouch Instructions: Cut a piece of heavy foil to 8 inches x 12 inches. Fold in half (6 inches x 12 inches), make 1/2 inch folds twice on opposite sides to form a pouch. Place 3/4 cup of pellets in pouch, close by folding the last side. Crimp folds as airtight as possible. Punch only one hole in the copter about 1/8 inch wide on one side. Gas & electric Grills: Place pouch with hole side up in the grill where it will get enough heat to smoke, it may need to be placed under the grate on lava rocks or flavor bars. Charcoal Grills: After spreading our hot coals, place pouch towards the outside of the coals (not in the center). Foil pouch or smoker box should be actively smoking before placing food in the grill because the food will pick up more smoke flavor in the first few minutes of grilling.
