Directions

Soak 2-3 cups of GrillPro wood chips in water for at least 30 minutes. Drain the chips and add them to a GrillPro smoker box or wrap in aluminum foil, the moisture will keep the wood chips from combusting on the grill and produce a gentle smoke flavor while cooking. Remove a cooking grate from your gas grill and place the smoker box directly upon the Heat plate or rock grate, replace the cooking grate. The smoker box can also be placed directly on the cooking grate when using the grill with high heat. Light barbecue and allow to preheat for 10 minutes, or until the flavor chips start smoking. Grill your foods as usual. For best results, keepyour barbecue lid closed to allow the flavor wood aromoa to fully penetrate the food. The chips will continue to smoke for up to 1/2 hour. On a charcoal grill, simply sprinkle the moistened chips over the red hot coals. Add more as necessary.
