Baking Instructions: 1. Preheat stone in oven at 450 degrees F (230 degrees) for 15 minutes. 2. Form pizza dough on top of our Italian Villa Peel (not included) which has been dusted with cornmeal to prevent sticking. 3. Add desired toppings to pizza dough. 4. Slide the prepared pizza onto hot pizza stone with the pizza peel. Bake 20 to 30 minutes, or until done. Remove pizza from the oven with the peel. Care Instructions: Tips for using your Italian Villa Pizza Stone: Our pizza stone is intended for oven use only. never place the stone on a hot range top, as the uneven heating will cause the stone to crack. Not intended for microwave use. Cleaning Tips for Your Italian Villa Pizza Stone: The traditional way to clean your pizza stone is to brush or scrape it clean and wipe it with a dry cloth to remove any crumbs. If you prefer to wash your stone, never use soap, as the residue will accumulate in the unglazed stone itself. Use hot water only, after stone has been allowed to cool. Your stone will darken with use. This is normal and does not affect the baking performance in any way.
