What You Need: 1/4 cup butter; 1/2 cup chopped celery; 1/2 cup chopped onions; 1-1/4 cups chicken broth. Make it: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat. Add vegetables; cook and stir 3 to 5 min. or until crisp-tender. Stir in broth. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add stuffing mix; stir just until moistened. Spoon into greased 8-inch square baking dish; cover. Bake 30 min., uncovering for the last 15 min. Make ahead: prepare stuffing as directed except do not bake. Refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking as directed. In-the-Bird Prep: Prepare stuffing as directed, except do not spoon into prepared baking dish and bake. Stuff turkey lightly with prepared stuffing. Spoon any remaining stuffing into greased baking dish; refrigerate until ready to use. Bake stuffed turkey as directed on wrapper, adding dish of remaining stuffing to the oven for the last 30 min. Keeping it safe: do not stuff the turkey until you are ready to place it in the oven. Stuffing is done when meat thermometer inserted in center reaches 165 degrees F. Note: use 1 pkg (12 oz) Stove Top Signature Stuffing for an 8-to 12-lb bird. Top-of-Stove Prep: Prepare stuffing as directed except do not spoon into prepared baking dish and bake. Remove from heat. Let stand, covered, 5 min. Fluff with fork. Note: the top-of-stove prep will result in a softer texture stuffing than the baked stuffing. Safety first! Cook thoroughly before consuming.
