Store in a cool, dry place. Use by date stamped on pouch. Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment. Stovetop: 1 Rinse rice before cooking, if desired. Combine 1 cup rice and 1 ¾ cups water in a saucepan with cover. Add salt if desired. 2 Bring to a boil over HIGH heat, uncovered. Stir. 3 Reduce heat to LOW. Cover and cook 12-15 minutes until tender. 4 Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve. Microwave (1100 watts): 1 Rinse rice before cooking, if desired. Combine 1 cup rice and 1 ¾ cups water in a microwave-safe 2-quart casserole with cover. Add salt if desired. 2 Cover; microwave on HIGH power 4 minutes. 3 Reduce power to MEDIUM (50 %) and cook 10-12 minutes. 4 Allow to stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
