Enriched Long Grain Parboiled Rice (Rice, Iron, Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Folic Acid), Onion, Salt, Spices (Including Paprika, Red Pepper, Chili Pepper), Red and Green Bell Pepper, Yeast Extract & Garlic.

Stove Top Directions: Pick a Protein: 1 lb., cut into bite-sized pieces; smoked sausage; ham; cooked chicken; shrimp (Add cooked shrimp during last 5 minutes of cooking time). Cook: Mix 2-1/2 cups water, rice mix, meat of your choice and 1 tbsp. vegetable or olive oil (optional) in 3-quart saucepan until well blended. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover. Simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Enjoy: Remove from heat Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving. Zatarain's Kitchen: Tips & Tricks: Veggify: Add 1 medium tomato, chopped or 1 can 14-1/2 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained, 1 cup cooked corn or 1 cup broccoli florets. Quick & Easy: Try using rotisserie chicken. Homemade: Try browning the sausage first. Microwave Directions: Mix 2-1/2 cups hot water, rice mix, meat of your choice (Add cooked shrimp during last 5 minutes of cooking time) and 1 tbsp. vegetable or olive oil (optional) in 2-1/2-quart microwavable bowl until well blended. Cover. Microwave on high 5 minutes. Stir. Microwave on medium (50% power) 18 minutes or until rice is tender, stirring occasionally. Let stand in microwave 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving. Microwave ovens vary; adjust cooking times as needed. Cooking times are based on an 1100 watt microwave oven. Caution: Bowl and contents will be very hot. Use pot holders when removing from microwave.
