How to Cook: Cooking times may vary depending on equipment. Stovetop method is recommended. Stovetop: 1. Bring water to a boil, using following information: 2 Servings = 1 cup rice + 1 cup water; 4 Servings = 2 cups rice +1 3/4 cups water; 6 Servings = 3 cups rice + 2 1/2 cups water; 7 1/2 Servings = 4 1/2 cups rice + 3 1/4 cups water. 2. Stir in rice. Return to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 5 minutes. 3. Remove from heat and stir. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. 4. Fluff lightly with fork and serve. Microwave oven (1100 watts): 1. In a large-deep microwave-safe dish combine rice and water (Add salt and butter or margarine, if desired.) 2. Cover and microwave on High using times below. 3. Do not remove lid. Let stand 5 minutes. 4. Fluff lightly with fork and serve. 2 Servings = 1 cup rice + 1 cup water, 7 minutes in microwave; 4 Servings = 2 cups rice + 1 3/4 cups water, 9 minutes in microwave. 6 servings = 3 cups rice + 2 1/2 cups water, 12 minutes in microwave. Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, store remaining uncooked rice in a sealed container.
