Enriched Long Grain Parboiled Rice (Rice, Iron, Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Folic Acid), Black Beans, Salt, Potato, Onion, Enriched Bleached Wheat Flour (Wheat & Malt Barley Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Yeast Extract, Tamari Soy Sauce (Soybean, Salt), Red and Green Bell Pepper, Torula Yeast, Spices (Including Red Pepper), Malted Barley Flour, Garlic, Natural Flavor (Including Hickory Smoke) & Extractives of Paprika.

Stove Top Directions: Pick a Protein (Optional): 1/2 lb, cut into bite-sized pieces: smoked sausage; ham; cooked chicken; andouille sausage. Cook: Mix 2-1/2 cups water, rice mix and 2 tbsp butter or olive oil in 2-quart saucepan until well blended. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover. Simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Stir occasionally to prevent rice and beans from sticking. Enjoy: Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving. Zatarain s Kitchen Tips & Tricks: Veggify: Add 1 medium tomato, chopped or 1/2 cup fresh salsa, 1 cup cooked corn or 1 cup chopped bell pepper. Quick & Easy: Add 1 can drained red kidney beans for a quick two bean rice side dish. Homemade: Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and crushed tortilla chips. Microwave: Mix 2-1/2 cups hot water, rice mix and 2 tbsp butter or olive oil in 2-1/2 quart microwavable bowl until well blended. Cover. Microwave on high 5 minutes. Stir. Microwave on medium (50% power) 18 minutes or until rice is tender, stirring occasionally. Let stand in microwave 5 minutes. Microwave ovens vary; adjust cooking times as needed. Cooking times are based on 1100 watt microwave oven. Caution: Bowl and contents will be very hot. Use pot holders when removing from microwave.
