Artisan Pasta: The name Pappardelle comes from the Italian word pappare, which means to gobble up. Made with an egg-based dough to make it richer and fluffier, it is an Italian flat pasta cut into a broad ribbon shape. We've imported ours directly from Italy to give you an authentic Pappardelle. You'll find that it keeps it shape in cooking, all the better to hold your heartier meat sauces. We recommend that you cook it al dente (meaning to the tooth) so it offers a slight resistance when bitten into, but doesn't get soft, break or tear. Directions

Store in a cool, dry place. How to Cook: Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment. 1. Bring 4 quarts water to a rapid boil (salt if desired). 2. Add desired amount of pasta to boiling water. Reduce heat to a gentle boil. 3. Cook 6 minutes (al dente) to 8 minutes or until desired tenderness, stirring occasionally. 4. Drain carefully. Serve with your favorite sauce. Chef Tip: Serve with a hearty meat sauce or try alfredo sauce. Estimate about 1/4 package per serving.
