Cooking Directions: Bring 8 Cups (2 LT) of Water to a boil. Add pasta and salt and cook for 6-8 minutes. Drain pasta in colander and serve. 100% Buckwheat Penne with a Cream and Salmon Sauce: Cook for 20 Minutes on Low. Serves 4. Ingredients: 8.8oz Buckwheat Penne - 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream - 7 oz. Smoked Salmon, chopped - 1/4 Onion, finely diced - 2 Tbsp Butter - 2 Tbsp minced Parsley - Salt, as needed. Preparation: Saute the onion in butter on low heat. Add the salmon and cream to the pan and cook about 5 min. until a sauce is obtained. Cook the penne in salted boiling water for 6-8 min. Drain and add to the salmon cream sauce. Cook in the pan for 2 more min. Serve and garnish with parsley. Store uncooked pasta in a cool, dry place.
