Fortified with vitamins A & D! Makes 8 quarts. Pasteurized extra grade. Excellent source of calcium. Diets containing foods that are good sources of potassium and low in sodium may reduced the risk of high blood pressure and stroke. Dissolves instantly. Richer flavor plus cost savings over whole milk can be obtained by mixing equal amounts of reconstituted Sturm's Instant Nonfat Dry Milk and whole milk. Excellent for cooking and baking!

Directions

Due to settling, the number of quarts made by following the cup measuring directions may be less than the number declared on the label. Each 3.2 oz by weight (approx 1-1/3 cups) of this product will make one quart. Settling may result in slight variations when measuring by the cup. This package, however, does contain the net weight stated on the label and will make the quarts indicated. To make from 1 cup to the entire contents, use the following guidelines. Add instant milk to water. Stir until dissolved. Add 0.8 oz (about 1/3 cup) dry powder to about 7/8 cup cold water to yield 1 cup liquefied nonfat milk. Add 3.2 oz (about 1-1/3 cups) dry powder to about 3-3/4 cups cold water to yield 1 quart liquefied nonfat milk. Add 6.4 oz (about 2-2/3 cups) dry powder to about 7-1/2 cups cold water to yield 2 quarts liquefied nonfat milk. Add 16 oz (about 6-2/3 cups) dry powder to about 4-1/2 quarts cold water to yield 5 quarts liquefied nonfat milk. Add entire package (1 lb 9.6 oz box) to about 7-1/2 quarts cold water to yield 8 quarts liquefied nonfat milk. For best flavor, store in a tightly sealed glass container and refrigerate overnight before serving. Cooking and Baking: When recipes call for milk, simply use required amount of prepared Sturm's Instant Nonfat Dry Milk.
