Premium quality. These versatile Haddon House Chestnuts are the perfect accompaniment to many dishes. Use these Haddon House Chestnuts with other vegetables such as Brussels sprouts or red cabbage, especially good with poultry or pork. Excellent roasted or in stuffing for poultry. A product of France.


Whole Chestnuts.


Try some of these suggestions: Braised in Butter, cook the chestnuts in a pan with beef broth, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes then drain. Add butter and turn up the heat, shake the pan until the chestnuts are well coated. Serve hot. For a Creamed Chestnut side dish, add some heavy cream with the butter. For a Pureed Chestnut side dish, put the creamed chestnuts through a food processor, adding cream and butter to taste. Refrigerate after opening.
