Keep frozen. Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment. Stove-Top: Place desired amount of Southern Blend in saucepan with 1/2 cup water. Cover. Bring quickly to a boil. Reduce heat; stir, cook gently 5-7 minutes or until desired doneness. Drain and season to taste. Microwave (1100 watt) (Lower wattage microwave ovens may require more time): Place desired amount of Southern Blend in microwave-safe container with 1/2 cup water. Cover. Cook on High according to chart. Carefully remove from oven. Drain and season to taste. Microwave Cooking Chart: For 1/2 package: 6-7 minutes cook time, stir after 3 minutes, 3 minutes standing time. For full package: 10-11 minutes cook time, stir after 5 minutes, 3 minutes standing time.
