Cook thoroughly to a temperature of 160 degrees F. Promptly refrigerate any leftovers. Stovetop Instructions: 1. Empty frozen contents of bag into a 2-quart nonstick saucepan. Add 1/2 cup water (1/4 cup water for half package). 2. Bring water to a full boil over high heat; reduce heat to medium-high. 3. Cover and cook for 4 to 5 minutes (3 to 4 minutes for half package), stirring occasionally. 4. Drain and serve. Microwave Instructions: 1. Empty frozen contents of bag into a 2-quart microwave safe dish. Add 1 tablespoon water (1 tablespoon water for half package). 2. Cover and microwave on high for the recommended cook time based on your microwave wattage; stir halfway through cooking. 3. Let stand for 1 minute after cooking. 4. Drain and serve. Microwave ovens vary - adjust cooking time as needed to reach 160 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer taken in several spots. Full Pack: 1200 watt microwave: 6 min; 1000 watt microwave: 7 min; 800 watt microwave: 8-1/2 min. Half Pack: 1200 watt microwave: 3-1/2 min; 1000 watt microwave: 4 min; 800 watt microwave: 5 min.
