Ingredients: Sweet Potatoes
KEEP FROZEN. HOW TO COOK: Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment. Stove-Top: 1. Place desired amount of sweet potatoes in saucepan with 1 cup water, salt is optional. Cover. Bring quickly to a boil. 2. Reduce heat; stir and cook gently 11-13 minutes or just until tender. Drain. Season to taste. Oven Roast: Preheat oven to 450 degrees with rack in center. 1. Toss sweet potatoes in a bowl with 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, salt and pepper if desired. 2. Spread single layer on a nonstick baking sheet with sides. 3. Roast 18-20 minutes until golden brown and tender, turning halfway through. Microwave (110watt)*: Place desired amount of broccoli in a microwave-safe container with 1/2 cup water, salt is optional. Cover and vent if using plastic wrap. Cook on HIGH 7-7 1/2 minutes. Let rest 2 minutes. Carefully remove from oven; drain. Season to taste. *Lower wattage microwave ovens may require more time. Chef Tips: Try mashing cooked sweet potatoes with milk, butter and brown sugar. Melt Finishing Butter over top. Sprinkle with BBQ seasoning.
