Directions

Keep frozen. For food safety and quality, follow the cooking directions. Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 160 degrees F. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Adjust cook times and heat settings as needed. Refrigerate leftovers. Microwave: Recommended method. 1. Remove pouch. Place pouch on microwavable plate. Cut small slit in center. 2. Microwave on high according to chart until thoroughly cooked. Microwave Wattage: 1200, Time on High: 5 minutes; Microwave Wattage: 700, Time on High: 8 minutes. 3. Let stand 1 minute. Caution: hot! Cut pouch open. Empty into serving dish; stir. Stove Top: Remove pouch. Place unopened pouch in 3 quart-saucepan of vigorously boiling water. Boil uncovered 24 minutes, turning after 12 minutes, until thoroughly cooked. Caution: hot! Cut pouch open. Empty into serving dish; stir.
