Carefully turn hash browns. Cook another 4 to 6 minutes. Cook to a golden color. Do not stir. Season to taste. Electric Skillet Cook. Half Bag: 1. Heat 3 tbsp cooking oil in a non-stick 16 inch x 12 inch electric skillet to 350 degrees F. Check temperature. 2. Carefully add half a bag (5-1/4 cups) frozen hash browns to form an even layer. 3. Cook 6 to 7 minutes. Drizzle with 1 tbsp oil and sprinkle with 1/4 tsp salt (optional). Carefully turn hash browns. 4. After turning, continue cooking for another 6 to 7 minutes. Cook to a golden color. Do not stir. 5. Season to taste. Full Bag: 1. Heat 1/4 cup cooking oil in a non-stick 16 inch x 12 inch electric skillet to 350 degrees F. Check temperature. 2. Carefully add a full bag (10-1/2 cups) frozen hash browns to form an even layer. 3. Cook 7 to 11 minutes. Drizzle with 2 tbsp oil and sprinkle with 1/2 tsp salt (optional). Carefully turn hash browns. 4. After turning, continue cooking for another 7 to 11 minutes. Cook to a golden color. Do not stir. 5. Season to taste.
