Directions

Keep frozen. Cook thoroughly. Stove Top Skillet Cook: Keep frozen. Do not overcook. Appliance temperatures may vary. Please consider the performance of your appliance when following these directions. Caution: Ice crystals on frozen foods can cause spattering when added to hot oil. Add product carefully. Tips for Frying with Oil: Always preheat oil uncovered. If oil spatters, cover immediately and reduce heat. When spattering stops, remove cover and return to cooking temperature. Be careful not to spatter or spill oil onto hot burner of range. Heat cooking oil in a non stick 12 inch skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully add frozen hash browns to form an even layer. Cover & cook according to chart. Cook to a light golden color. Do not stir. Season to taste. 1/2 Bag (3-1/2 Cups) Hash Browns: 3 tbsp. oil; 4-7 min., turn, 4-7 min. cooking time. Full Bag (7 Cups) Hash Browns: 1/3 cup oil; 10 min., turn, 7 min., turn, 3-5 min. cooking time. Electric Skillet Cook: 1. Heat cooking oil in a non stick 12 inch electric skillet at 375 degrees F. 2. Carefully add frozen hash browns to form an even layer. 3. Cover and cook according to chart. Cook to a light golden color. Do not stir. 4. Season to taste. 1/2 Bag (3-1/2 Cups) Hash Browns: 3 tbsp. oil; 6-7 min., turn, 6-7 min. cooking time. Full Bag (7 Cups) Hash Browns: 1/4 cup oil; 8 min., turn, 7 min., turn, 4-5 min. cooking time.
