Directions

Melting Instructions: Microwave: This method is the easiest and most efficient way to melt candy wafers. 1. Place wafers in a Make n' Mold squeeze bottle, Make n' Mold dipping tray or microwave-safe bowl. 2. Microwave thirty seconds at half power. 3. Stir wafers or squeeze bottle (wafers will not appear melted until stirred). Crockpot: This method works best for large amounts of one color candy wafer. It keeps wafers melted for as long as you need them. 1. Fill crock-pot 1/2 full with desired candy wafers. 2. Turn crock-pot to lowest setting. 3. Stir wafers until completely melted. Note: You may want to melt wafers first in microwave then keep them melted in crockpot. Other methods for melting wafers include the use of a double boiler or warming tray. Instructions are available on candy wafer bags and in the easy make treats candymaking guide. Marbleizing Instructions: 1. Melt desired colors of Make 'n Mold candy wafers separately. 2. Stir colors together using the Make 'n Mold Dipping fork to create swirled lines in wafers. Do not over mix. 3. Carefully spoon into molds. Tap on surface to remove any air bubbles. 5. Chill and unmold. Molding Instructions: Miniatures: 1. Melt Make n' Mold candy wafers. Fill mold cavities with melted wafers. 2. Lightly tap mold onto flat surface to release air bubbles. 3. Refrigerate approximately fifteen to twenty minutes or until mold appears frosty and pieces are firm. 4. Invert mold onto flat surface and tap gently to remove finished candy pieces. (If candy does not release easily, chill two to three more minutes. Do not force candy out of mold.) Lollipops: 1. Melt Make n' Mold candy wafers. Fill mold cavities with melted wafers. 2. Place a stick in the stick channel of the mold, with at least one inch of the stick into the melted wafers. Rotate stick to completely cover the end with melted wafers. 3. Lightly tap mold onto flat surface to release air bubbles. 4. Refrigerate approximately fifteen to twenty minutes or until mold appears frosty and pieces are firm. 5. Invert mold onto flat surface and tap gently to remove finished candy pieces. (If candy does not release easily, chill two or three more minutes. Do not force candy out of mold.) Painted Pieces: 1. Melt Make n' Mold desired colors of candy wafers separately. 2. Fill cavities of Make n' Mold painter's palette with one color of melted wafers. 3. Paint one color in each mold cavity. Chill three minutes. 4. Paint additional colors, one at a time. Chill three minutes between colors. 5. Once desired painting is finished, fill remainder of each cavity with one color melted wafers. Chill ten to fifteen minutes. Important Tips About Candy Wafers And Mold Care: Make n' Mold Candy Wafers: 1. Water and candy do not mix! Never bring candy wafers or finished pieces in contact with water, moisture or water-based products. 2. Store candy wafers and finished pieces in a cool, dry place. Never store in refrigerator or freezer. 3. Keep candy wafers and finished pieces away from strong odors (onions, smoke, etc.) Make n' Mold Candy Molds: 1. Be sure mold is clean and dry before use. (If necessary, use a mild, odorless dish soap, rinse and dry thoroughly.) 2. Do not place molds in dishwasher or microwave. Make n' Mold Candy Molds may be uses with other melted craft mediums, if the required temperature is less than 110 degrees. A. Melt. B. Pour. C. Chill. It's that easy!
