Maredsous Brune Belgian Abbey Ale
Product Details

(8% ABV) The team¿s next stop was the village that gave its name to Maredsous Brune abbey ale. ¿The Benedictine monastery we visited is very proud of its ale-brewing heritage. Portions of the profit from Maredsous sales help support the Abbey¿s charitable works,¿ explained Jay Peake, Syracuse, NY area manager. This deep burgundy, fine-bodied dubbel (originally created as a Christmas ale) has a creamy head, rich rum-raisin bouquet, and subtle flavors of dark fruit, chocolate and caramel. Great with: Braised short ribs, roasted chicken, leg of lamb and venison sausages.
