Lager, Double Bock
Product Details

The history surrounding bocks and double bocks is almost as rich and intriguing as the brews themselves. Brewed by monks since the 13th century, these rich lagers are still some of the biggest and most sophisticated beers around, and our Samuel Adams Double Bock is no exception. We use an enormous amount of malted barley, half a pound per bottle, to brew this intensely rich lager. It's deep mahogany color and velvet smooth flavor and mouth feel is a testament to the beer's high quality two-row malted barley. Samuel Adams Double Bock's intense malt character is balanced by the subtle citrus not from the German Noble hops. Over the past 20 years, Samuel Adams Double Bock has become one of the most celebrated beers in our brewery, a tribute to its rich and complex flavor. We hope you enjoy this rich and flavorful craft brew. Samuel Adams Double Bock is brewed with a half pound of malt in each bottle, almost enough for a loaf of bread. This intense, rich lager reveals a deep mahogany color and velvety smooth flavor. Samuel Adams Double Bock is one of our most sought after brews. Enjoy - Jim Koch, Brewer & Founder. Brewed and bottled by The Boston Beer Company. 9.5% alc./vol.
